Vitamin D Bioactive

Vitamin D Bioactive: High Biological Availability!

For athletes, there may be an increased need for Vitamins and minerals. This is because important substances are excreted more with perspiration. This need should be balanced again after physical exertion. For this very purpose, IronMaxx® developed Vitamin D Bioactive . The contained Vitamin D is in a highly biologically available form (Vitamin D3- Cholecalciferol), so the body can quickly absorb it. Additionally, the Vitamin D3 is contained in a high-dose concentration , so one capsule is sufficient to cover 100% of the Nutrient Reference Values (NRV*).

Sports and Vitamins – A Promising Combination!

Especially athletes who work with heavy weights put additional strain on their bones. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.Additionally, it also has other important functions in the body that can be beneficial during sports. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function and Vitamin D has a role in cell division. This is particularly important for active athletes. However, non-athletes also benefit enormously from Vitamin D: Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and Vitamin D contributes to a normal Calcium level in the blood.

Vitamin D - The SunVitamin!

Vitamin D is the only Vitamin that the body can produce itself. Nevertheless, it is possible in de that the body does not produce enough Vitamin D. The reason for this is that the Vitamin can only be produced by the body when it is exposed to direct sunlight. In de, there are strong fluctuations in solar radiation due to the seasons, so the adequate formation of Vitamin D3 is not always guaranteed. Especially in winter or with regular indoor stays, a Vitamin D3 deficiency can develop. The National Consumption Study of 2008 showed that 91% of women and 82% of men in de have a deficiency in Vitamin D3.
